"I've read FULL CIRCLE with pleasure and respect. The writing is lean and mean, but its dark, hard-boiled tone is tempered by a lyric kind of yearning and remorse. The plot grabs you by the throat from the horrific opening, then propels you around the world through twists and turns. Nigel Hawkins is an admirable and original character with potential as a series hero -- tough, down but not out, easy to identify with for any man over thirty.
