COMMENTS ON FULL CIRCLE"I've read FULL CIRCLE with pleasure and respect. The writing is lean and mean, but its dark, hard-boiled tone is tempered by a lyric kind of yearning and remorse. The plot grabs you by the throat from the horrific opening, then propels you around the world through twists and turns. Nigel Hawkins is an admirable and original character with potential as a series hero -- tough, down but not out, easy to identify with for any man over thirty. One hopes he gets it on ultimately with Daniela Benelli, another very appealing character. And the whole New Zealand mis en scene is exotic and compelling. Mason uses the genre to say some deep stuff about identity, relationships, aging, and doing what you have to do, regardless. He's a serious writer in the good company of John Le Carre, and Scott Turow." -- Alan Rinzler (Mr. Rinzler has edited the work of Robert Ludlum, Clive Cussler, Hunter Thompson, Tom Robbins, Claude Brown, Toni Morrison, et al.) "FULL CIRCLE is a unique story in a unique setting, and Lance Mason is the perfect man to tell it. His characters are cinematic, his prose locks you in for the whole ride, and few writers can match Mason's chops when it comes to bringing the New Zealand police procedural right here to America. From the assassination-by-decapitation in the opening scene straight through to the all too credible finish, FULL CIRCLE touches all the bases and then some." - Gene Riehl, former FBI agent and author of QUANTICO RULES (St. Martin's Press) HOMEPAGE | WRITER'S GOAL | TARGET AUDIENCE | ON CONTENT | READERS COMMENTS | MASONS WORK | ROOTS
